Mas é um trabalho lindo. Às vezes eu fico pesarosa, por ver que caras como esse não tem o seu trabalho devidamente reconhecido. É tão desconhecido que não tem videozinho no youtube, nem referências legais no google, a não ser no last.fm, mesmo.

E o Morgan tem página no last.fm! O mais impressionante é que dá pra ver de longe que ele é fã de Damien Jurado (aeaeae! temos algo em comum hein?) Ele me parece muito fiel ao estilo de música que ele faz, porque é exatamente esse estilo que ele ouve. Na página do cara tem lá Sufjan Stevens, Cat Power, Smog, Songs: Ohia, etc.
É lindo! Agora tô aqui penando pra ver se encontro as letras de pelo menos uma das músicas dele (a minha preferida: Mouldings) mas tá complicado. Isso que dá ser analfabeta na língua inglesa. ;/
Uma curiosidade é que eu entrei num blog português que fazia referência ao FFTMWSYC (mais simples assim!) e o autor do blog conforme ia falando das bandas ao fim disponibilizava uma musica em mp3 para as pessoas baixarem (coisa comum nos dias de hoje...) e o próprio Morgan pediu ao dono do blog para retirar a música. Eu achei engraçado. Não que eu aprove esse tipo de atitude por parte dos autores, eu acho que não adianta manter esse tipo de postura afinal as pessoas irão baixar sim, se quiserem, de outras formas, mas é engraçado ele ter ido lá pessoalmente e pedido pro rapaz retirar o link da música. hahaha.

I stumbled onto this page by accident, clicking on a link
from your Last.fm page. I got most of what it says here by
having some online translating thing do it's job (including
the part about me policing bloggers which made me laugh).
I actually don't mind it all that much that people
download the album. it proves they like it I guess. I'm
just still wondering how much they have to like it before
they actually buy it. we weren't hoping to get rich but
we were hoping we wouldn't lose money... fat chance.
anyway, thanks for the blog. oh and the label is
Waterhouse Records by the way. and we hope to get
the website finished soon. just how soon is hard to say...
